Remarks: Emirates 225 making a fuel stop into YYZ, on the way to SFO. The reason for this being is the Grimsvotn volcano that erupted in Iceland, disrupting air traffic. Emirates 225's route involves the flight to go over Iceland, but today it couldn't, the ash was stopping it. Earlier in the day also Emirates 217 arrived and departed to LAX from YYZ for the same reason. 30 minutes earlier arrived Emirates 215, the flight to LAX, also for a fuel stop. That day YYZ got 3 Emirates 777s. This airport is serviced by EK A380s not 777s, so this is quite the rarity.
