Remarks: Standing alone beside the other QAF AW139 during a technical stop. Without any doubt one of the most exciting visitors that passed through Malta since the Libya crises began last February. Here it can be seen under the flood lights of apron 4 on a typical summer night.
Remarks: A very interesting visitor today coming in first as LAFFAN 02 during a technical stop. Another interesting movement that the Libya crises brought to Malta..also, a new reg on the net. Had been waiting eagerly for the 2x Qatar AF helis to show up for weeks and one fine morning they where reported inbound to MLA. One couldn't not go to the airport for such a movement!
Remarks: Arguably one of the best ever movements in Malta. Came with an Agusta and departed the day after to Djerba. This aircraft is very rare in Europe and usually these fly into Libya as part of the the Libyan Campaign.
