Remarks: This is one of the many wonderful spotting locations in LAX, located at 9200 Lincoln Boulevard. Fellow spotters Diego Mancilla, Omar Pérez (texting) and José Mendez waiting for Alaska's 737. Thanks to Diego for showing us such a nice place to spot. Google Maps 33.952735,-118.396813.
Remarks: With weather like this and views over the southern runways and terminal complex, the Imperial Hill lookout must rate as one of my favourite places in the world. Google Earth locator: Lat. 33°55'51.36"N, Long. 118°24'41.59"W
Remarks: Named after the first African-American, 38th and, at time of writing, longest serving mayor of Los Angeles, the Tom Bradley international terminal was opened for the 1984 summer Olympic Games and currently serves 10 million passengers via 34 airlines
Remarks: As seen from DL2293 (MSP-LAX) the Proud Bird spotting location is good for all landings to 25L and 25R and boasts an interesting collection of preserved aircraft. Google Earth locator: Lat. 33°56'10.58"N, Long. 118°22'40.34"W (see next in series... Click Here).
