Remarks:Dynasty 52 departs in the soft evening light for Taipei via Sydney. First time I have shot this bird departing. Departure shots are only possible when the service routes through Sydney, routings through Brisbane leave late at night.
Remarks:LAN 801 arrives from Santiago some 16 hours late in true LAN fashion. As a result the AKL-SYD-AKL rotation was cancelled and pax ferried on Air New Zealand flights. This is not uncommon as Tim Bowrey has discovered in the past.
Remarks:Emirates 407 makes a nice departure into the evening sun as she heads for Dubai via Melbourne. this has to be one of the best spots I have found at AKL.
