Remarks: A fantastic spotting location close to the river Inn (thank you Alex for guiding me!) at an utmost spotter-friendly airport (more than 20 offical holes like on the right hand side, terrace without glass), beautiful weather, many spotters and onlookers around and nice traffic, here Austrian's Fokker 100 OE-LVJ taking off rwy 08 - you couldn't ask for more. In March the light is in your back until dusk. Google Earth 47° 15' 25.89", +11° 19' 54.08.
Remarks: Farnborough airport seen from 2000ft as we join cross wind for arrival on RWY24. One of the most famous airports in the UK - in existence since 1908 and throughout the years has been home to the bi-annual Farnborough airshow, the Royal Aircraft Establishment and in more recent years TAG, who run a very efficient private-jet operation out of here with a smart new terminal.
Remarks: Here lies the famous boneyards at Victorville, with three (and a half) ex-Cathay 747 aircraft shown toward the right, a few FedEx freighters, and a World MD11 (1200x800 pixels).
