Remarks: Landing on runway 02L kicking up a huge spray of water making a very unusual shot. The spray was so big, I could not even see the registration number!!!
Remarks: Taken from another UA 747-400, when lots of Asian-arrivals were diverted from SFO to OAK due to dense fog across the bay. This 747-400 came in from Osaka as UA 810.
Remarks: s/n 29862 / 253 'Peter Max' delivered '10/99, special NYC 2000-colors, taking off on runway 18. Nice surprise for me, as I had just arrived in Frankfurt for a couple of days of spotting, and just had the time to pop in a film when "Max" came down the run
Remarks: (cn 19664/643) Crash-landed on 14 November 1998 after an inflight engine separation and a los of hydraulics. The fuselage is now part of the Icarus restaurant.
