226 has recently arrived at the museum after being retired and is in the process of spares recovery.
The options for photographing this one are very limited indeed. To get this i had to lie on the ground and take the photo under the fence. Still its good to have a Nimrod at MAN.
This Nimrod is now on display at the viewing park.
New home for this aircraft - Aviation Viewing Park at Manchester Airport.
Now in its final resting place in the AVP, will be handed over in August and tours inside will soon be available. Shot low down under the fence!
