Remarks: One of a small number converted to VT-29E standard, this aircraft had been in use by MATS as a VIP transport prior to serving with the National Guard - its serial 51-5171 still visible.
Remarks: A line up of six former US Army and USAF Dakotas that came to be operated by Lee County Mosquito Control. This aircraft was later sold to Four Star Air Cargo and crashed on 10 May 1991 killing both crew members.
Remarks: The 40th built L-188, manufactured as “A” serie in 1959 for Ansett Airlines of Australia. First flight on February 13, delivered February 27 as VH-RMA. Converted to (F) class July 1972. TPI International Airways bought October 1984 as N356Q. Afterwards this old lady turned up at several smaller cargo carriers worldwide. Amerer Air leased from December 1996, later bought August 1998 as OE-ILB. WFU and stored Linz, Austria December 2005. Buffalo Airways bought October 2006.
