Remarks: Razair's Legacy departs from a cold windy Luton. The aircraft has only been with its new owners since September of this year, having previously been operated by London Executive aviation as G-RUBN. The aircraft first flew as PT-SFC.
Remarks: Its "Indra Dhanush 2007" and this Flanker jettisons its brake parachute at the end of the afternoon mission playing against it's RAF adversaries. Note the other 'chutes from the previous arrivals.
Remarks: ZJ690 lines up on the Waddington runway for another training sortie. The aircraft is the first Sentinel for 5 (Army Co-operation) Sqdn., which is based at the Lincolnshire airfield. Its main role is one of an Airborne Stand-off Radar System (ASTOR) for battlefield surveillance. The airframe is basically a much modified Global Express business jet, its previous identity being C-GJRG.
Remarks: Exercise "Indra Dhanush '07", and its a busy ramp at EGXW as the SU-30's prepare for an afternoon mission against their RAF Tornado "enemies".
