Remarks: EA-6B of VA-132 "Scorpions" NAS Whidbey Island. Did a single touch-and-go and rocketd off toward Mount Rainier. A REAL treat!!![Canon EOS 10-D][Sigma EX OS]
Remarks: A-6E Intruders leading a couple of EA-6B in the good years when the Intruders were very much still active. Political Correctness killed the sign at the base entrance that read " Please excuse the noise but it's the sound of freedom". It certainly fit that era.
Remarks: 160709 / AB-502 Just wild. It is hard to comprehend how loud this thing is, especially while on the ramp with nobody else around with only the sounds of a few birds chirping.
Remarks: 158029 / AF-500 This plane came back home to Long Island so that the Northrop Grumman employees can see what all of their work is for....Now that the company only makes parts and upgrades and no longer has an airbase! As you can see by the two finger earplugs....This beast is LOUD!
Remarks: 160709 / AB-502 Hard to believe that the A-6's are no longer flying...Well, this is close. Truly a beautiful bird, unless you are standing next to it when they turn on the jammers, then this bird is killer!
