Remarks: Yet another version of the Boeing 707 - this one an airborne battlefield command platform with sophisticated surveillance equipment in the pod underneath. Originally delivered to the Canadian Air Force in 1970; purchased by the USAF & converted in 1996.
Remarks: This plane is used for navigational training, part of a six month program at the 562nd FTS that leads to a rating of Navigator or Naval Flight Officer for students with follow-on assignments to tanker, transport, recon, and maritime patrol aircraft.
Remarks: Air shows like this are the only place you can see an F-4 fly. And soon you won't see any of that after they're all destroyed as target drones.
