Remarks: This photo will be the last photo you will ever see of this CL-600 in a flying condition. This Canadair skidded off the runway at Teterboro on the 2nd of February 2005. I just came back from my vacation from Florida until today I found out about this crash and I would've of never thought I had two photos of it. My prayers to the 11 injured and a really sad ending to this a/c as it is written off. (Olympus C-740UZ).
Remarks: Failed takeoff. She came to rest in the side of a brick building after crashing through the wrought iron fence at the end of 06, then crossing a six-lane divided highway at rush hour hitting only one car, through a praking lot and into the building. She took a car with her into the building you can see it clearly beside the fuselage.
Remarks: Best view possible of the crash site. They were pretty much keeping everyone back and away from getting any close shots. Amazing that the most serious injury of those on board was a broken leg suffered by the copilot.
Remarks: cn 1038. This is an oldie - no winglets. This reg. was assigned to HOP-A-JET at the time. Thanks Bill in Tuscon for your help tracking this one down.
