Remarks: Bradley Space & Aviation Day 2009. Shot of the instrument panel of this interesting and quite narrow craft (note the windows / doors on either side of the cockpit). I love the "cargo hook release" button on the control stick! Many thanks to the pilot for the cockpit access.
Remarks: Only the cockpit of N714PA (Clipper Golden Eagle) has been preserved. Still, great to see an all analog cockpit! Note that the instruments of engine number 1 look different than the rest. Thanks to Dan for lending me his diffuser.
Remarks: LH420 from FRA to BOS. We are on a holding pattern north-east of Boston. Wonderful effect, as the deployed spoilers catch the light of the setting sun.
Remarks: US3165 from PHL to MSP. Low turn over the Delaware river and the Philly area shortly after take off. You can still see the airport in the distance. Canon EOS 40D, EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM lens.
Remarks: AC364 from YYZ to BOS. Shortly after our early evening take off from YYZ's 6L. Nice view of the Toronto area, in particular the downtown area and the famous CN tower (at the top left), as the sun is going down behind us. I love the long shadows!
Remarks: Rhode Island Air Show 2009. Sean Tucker in his Oracle Challenger cuts the third ribbon (which you can see still falling between the poles on the right). Awesome display!
Remarks: Rhode Island Air Show 2009. A crew member is about to demonstrate rappelling from this medevac Huey. Sadly, the weather that day was not great.
