Remarks: Looking down on rwy 19 from a mirador located on the top of the cliff. This overview shows the position of the airport on a plateau at the coast line some 7 kilometers south of Santa Cruz de la Palma. Construction works are going on right know and in the far distance Condor's B753 D-ABOM is being prepared for the flight back to Germany. On the right hand side there are banana plantations.
