Remarks: Quick Reaction Alert Typhoon returning with live rounds less than a month after the type assumed alert duties. Live ASRAAM's are visible under the wings and the longer ranged AMRAAM's can just be made out on the fuselage stations.
Remarks: This was the very first UK production single-seater. The airframe was held back by BAe for ground tests and has only just been delivered to Coningsby. Aircraft has gained 29(R) markings despite operating with 11 Sqn.
Remarks: 3 Squadron Typhoon overshooting at Coningsby after returning from a Quick Reaction Alert sortie. Four AIM-120A/B active-radar missiles can be seen under the fuselage as well as four ASRAAM infra-red missiles on the outer wing stations. These are live rounds.
