Remarks: E-6B Mercury "TACAMO" arriving at Geilenkirchen under adverse weather conditions. This aircraft is an airborne command post for US Strategic Forces, with as its primary function communications relay for fleet ballistic missile submarines, ICBMs and strategic bombers.
Remarks: A two-seater "D" version of the F/A-18 Hornet from the Swiss Air Force in the ulta-blue skies above Axalp during the first day of the "Fliegerschiesen" demo.
Remarks: MD-900 Explorer from Belgium Police, shown during take-off with members of the special intervention team on-board. A great demo was set up at melsbroek to celebrate 60 years 15th Wing.
Remarks: I skipped breakfast to witness the first launch of the day, and I would do that everytime again and again!! What a lovely sight to see this F-4F Phantom II from JG71 rotate in front of me!!
