Remarks: Returning to JFK aboard this beautiful Swissair MD11 from Geneva just a few minutes before landing on 31R. Just as we flew off the southern coast of Long Island, the pilot tipped the right wing presumably so we could obtain a clear view of Islip MacArthur airport (ISP). If you look closely, you'll see the kettle lake, Lake Ronkonkoma, as well as the very thick brown gooey summer haze line in the upper portion of the image. What a great plane that was!
