Remarks: Ready to leave the parking with the old terminal and control tower in the background. Now, this building is gone. The airport autority demolished to leave more parking spaces for Airplanes.
Remarks: At the entrance of the Iguazú Airport we can see this Douglas A-4P Skyhawk (ex US Navy A-4B) painted as "C-215" stuck on a pole. The original served with Grupo 5 de Caza at Villa Reynolds air base. This aircraft was shot down during the Falklands War on 27 May 1982 by 40 mm gunfire from HMS Fearless (L10). The pilot, Lt. Mariano Velasco, was ejected and survived. The plane isn't in a really good conditions.
