Remarks: The history of this helicopter is very sad. On December 5, 1976 while on a military operation had an accident and the 3 occupants die. The operation wasn't very complicated. They took off from ''Cándido de Lasala'' military boat carrying a gas-oil tank to move it to Base Marambio, Antartic Argentina. When they where very close to meseta el chinguillo, the helicopter touch the mountain and lost control. The crash killed all the ocupants. After being recovered and restored, they aplied this UN colours that never whore. Now is on static display at Museo de la aviación at Morón, Buenos Aires.
Remarks: The Argentina air force had 50 aircraft of the English ''Dove'' and used them mostly for VIP transport. This one was incorporated into the Aeronautical Secretary of Argentina back on June 24, 1949 and registered as LV-YAI. After that, on Octover 4, 1956 is re-registered as LV-ALA. Later on it was incorporated in the Argentina Air Force and they change the registration into a military one as T-90 and used as a transport aircraft. Also it was used as recognicement aircraft and two new registrations were given; F-5 and finally F-12 (actual). It was wfu 1964 and preserved in Area Material Quilmes (ENET 4). Years later it was restored and donated to the Museum. Now is on static display.
