Remarks: These are the landing lights at the east of the runway, this extension was completed in 2001 and extends the runway from 2500m to 3500m. Here a MU A320 is landing on RWY 10, this easterly runway is used mainly for eastbound flight from Korea and China.
Remarks: An aerial overview of the passenger terminal building (PTB), ramp and surrounding buildings at the Bengaluru International Airport. From the left is the airport staff parking, the PTB and the parking area, including the airport hotel which is still under construction. The unique "three in one" Lima taxi way which provides for two narrow-bodies or one wide-body to taxi in parallel can be seen in the ramp. The extent of land given for future expansion is visible all the way to the tree line slight above the centre line of the photo.
