Remarks: Short final for runway 06, Ibiza Airport (IBZ/LEIB), arriving from Madrid as IBS 2506. In the foreground we can see the small island of Es Vedrà. Es Vedrà is a Balearic small rock island situated approximately 2 km off the western coast of Ibiza Island , in the area of "Cala d'Hort".
This small island of Es Vedrà is a nature reserve and is uninhabited. Undoubtedly is a "special magnetic place" and there are many myths and legends that surround the island . I want to dedicate this photo to all "Ibiza spotters", especially to my good friend and fellow JP photographer
Javier Marí . He is the author of the music in the short film "Doctor SI", in which he also plays “Doctor Sí” role.The film, directed by Héctor Escandell, was screened at Cannes in 2011; it was filmed in Ibiza, as action unfolds in the island of Es Vedrà.
