Remarks: I sat of first row, middle seat on Winair PJ-WIL aircraft. When the pilot align with the runway, I loosed the seat belt, a lot, to get high enough to see through the first officer's window, already a little inside the cockpit (no cockpit doors on the DHC-6 Twin Otters), focus, shoot, sit, fasted seat belts, felt the touch down. After landing, I was even short of breath after such a quick gymnastic. At least I get to provide a different view of Maho Beach and Juliana Airport. Too bad seconds before all this it rained and the windshield was not so clear.
Remarks: Many Thanks to Fred Boureau for the best momments of my "Photography Life". This was shot seconds before touch down!! Nice, priviledged and windy Runway Overview.
Remarks: In this shot you can see a recent renovation of the runway at EOH Airport, with the new lights, improving visibility for aircraft`s approach in poor weather conditions
Remarks: Here we see Webjet's PR-WJU disturbing the water as it accelerates to take off from SDU's main runway, which is just a little over 1300m long. The airport is located in the city center, surrounded by mountains and with no ILS. One of the most difficult landings in the world.
