Remarks: Atlas’ newest 8F arriving in Hong Kong not long before a thunderstorm with heavy rain hit the airport. It was delivered on 04/02/2013 and was operating on behalf of Polar Air Cargo from Cincinnati & Anchorage. I quite like the Atlas Air scheme, it's nothing fancy but has a nice design with a good choice of colours and a cool logo.
Remarks: A nice surprise for us here in Hong Kong. Just a one-off visit but I would love to see more of this aircraft here in future. Seen departing for the Middle East.
Remarks: This was before the merger with Continental and between 2006 & 2007 we did get UA 777s on the Tokyo service replacing the 747s. I do miss this United scheme although I think it's one of those schemes where the light has to be appropriate for it stand out.
