Remarks: One of Continental's newer 737-900ER spending a night here in JAX. This is one of my first night shot uploaded to JetPhotos and hand held too. This shot goes out to Andrew Broadfoot in Houston and Vishal Jolapara in Mumbai ,both of who inspired me to shoot in the dark.Cheers and thanks gentlemen.
Remarks: My first capture of a canadian A330-200. FLL is a great spotting airport. Hopefully some day I will be able to capture a Finnish aircraft in my viewfinder at this airport.
Remarks: I really got lucky here. Two versions of the A340 in one shot. This picture is dedicated to Vishal Jolapara and his love for the A340 as well as Sushank and Arpit from Delhi who helped me with spotting in India.
Remarks: This aircraft was struck on the left engine by airstairs the day before when JAX has a severe thunderstorm. The maintenance crew worked all night to get the plane airworthy and sure did a great job. Thankfully the damage was limited to the cowling only.
Remarks: A splendid looking Air India A310.I was lucky as kid to be able to jumpseat in the cockpit during landing at Singapore many years ago and during cruise recently on an AI 310 from HKG to DEL last year.I thank the pilots for the wonderful opportunity.
Remarks: Head on with a 737 less than 50 meters away.Unbelievable in this day and age.I even got a wave from the captain as he taxied past. Amazing beyond my wildest expectation. I love this hobby!!!
Remarks: I wonder!!!!..I wonder where this aircraft came from..where it will go from here...where will it park up tonight. These planes get worked to the limit everyday and they still last up to 10 to 20 years. What a wonderful invention...and it flies too!!
