Remarks: The MUNIZ M-7 is a plane for two crew members, for primary training of pilots. Designed by Major Brazilian Army Antonio Guedes Muniz, was the first model manufactured in series in Brazil. The prototype was built at Parque Central de Aeronáutica (Campo dos Afonsos) and the following at Fábrica Brasileira de Aviões, Isle of Viana (Rio de Janeiro).
The Military Aviation training school, which operated here from Afonsos field, used 11 aircraft MUNIZ M-7, of a total of 28 produced from 1937 to 1941, with the remaining 17 for aero clubs. The copy on display, registration number "13" (manufactured in 1938), flew in aeroclubs with the prefix "PP-TEN," from 1941 to 1967.
Remarks: Replica of Santos-Dumont 14-BIS exposed at Museu Aeroespacial in Rio de Janeiro. The first flew in Paris in October 23, 1906. There are some replicas of this one in Brazil.
