Remarks: Departing on a left downwind departure towards the Gila Crossing VRP, en route to Tucson International in PA28 Warrior N732C. The ATCA and Oxford ramps and accommodation can be seen to the top of the picture, with the Aeroturbine maintenance facility in the middle, with two DC-10s, two 757s (one formerly 4X-BAZ of Arkia), one MD-80, a 737-200 and a partially scrapped CRJ. The scrapping of B742 N73717 was also in progress; when I returned only the top deck was left! Dash 7 N777EA can also be seen at the top of the photo awaiting restoration.
Remarks: This aircraft is formerly of the University of North Dakota, though now operates for Oxford Airline Training Center in Goodyear. Taken after my first lesson.
Remarks: Taken at the 2006 Goodyear Balloon and Air Spectacular held at Goodyear Municipal Airport! I dedicate this shot to my Grandfather, who is the inspiration for this shot as he helped to defend freedom during WWII in this type of aircraft! He's also the inspiration for me trying to become an airline pilot myself! This one's for you Gramps!
Remarks: New to JP. At the time this photo was taken this aircraft was waiting to be converted into an MD-10 freighter for FedEx, but was later scrapped instead.
