Remarks: PJ-WII lines up for take off at one of the worlds most magnificent airports, St. Barths. I took 3 trips that day on this exact aircraft. The approach into this airport has to be experience for any aviation fanatic. [1600pxl]
Remarks: Overview of Larnaca (LCA/LCLK) after an early morning departure from runway 04. You can see Mackenzie Beach at the bottom of the picture. The main terminal is opposite the runway 04 threshold, with bizjet parking near the Cyprus Airways hangar opposite the runway 22 threshold. A small part of Larnaca's huge salt lake can also be seen, as can Aegean's A319 SX-DGH waiting to depart for Athens (ATH/LGAV) from the 04 threshold.
Remarks: long exposure of 23L and the airfield as dawn starts to break. The departing aircraft was an Easyjet A320 leaving its strobes and blur along the runway.
Remarks: After light snowfall today during the late afternoon. Two minutes to late, the two cleaning-trucks just entered the main-runway!
Interesting colorplay because of the thin snow cover and the yellow-orange-winter-sun one and a half hour before sunset.
