Remarks: The 330 from the gulf arrives on 27L in the very last light of the day. Unlike me i'd foregone a pint at the pub so i could stay and shoot the last few arrivals of the day... anyone who knows me personally might be shocked at that statement! It was worth it though to get results like this. (7D/17-40F4L)
Remarks: AA101 to John F Kennedy, New York departs from 27L in the brilliant sunshine. While i will always love this chrome livery on the 777, i cannot wait to see what the new 'American' livery will look like on these shorter 772's. (5D2/70-200F2.8LIS)
Remarks: AC861 departs 27L and heads to Halifax, Canada. I've been lucky enough to have photographed many of the types Air Canada have used over the past decade, it's a shame that they have now settled on the 777/767 and A330, with the 747's and A345's gone from the skies. (5D2/70-200F2.8LIS)
Remarks: Qatari A330 departs 27L and heads back to Doha as QR006. I love this scheme, always looks great in person, would look fantastic on a 747 i reckon... (5D2/70-200F2.8LIS)
Remarks: The Syrian national carrier departs from 27L and heads back to Damascus, Syria as RB410. I remember when Syrian used to send the 747SP to Heathrow, i'd much rather that than these french airbuses! (5D2/70-200F2.8LIS)
Remarks: Here is an overview of Las Vegas International's Terminal 2 and the 1's runway. In the background the famous Las Vegas strip can be seen, with many famous hotel identifiable. Several aircraft can be seen including an Omni 757 in the foreground, a US Air A320 taxiing and some of the famous Sands Corp fleet including one of the 747 SP's and the 767 as well as numerous smaller private jets. Remarks: What a sight this was as i saw her glide over the perimeter fence while she made her final approach into 27R at LHR operating as AI111. I don't know what it is about these big Boeing's but they look fantastic showing their full wing span. The light that evening also made the livery of the Indian national carrier look amazing as she touched down. (5D3/100-400LIS)
Remarks: BA babybus arrives from Frankfurt, Germany as BA909. I love this tight cropped angle of this bird as it is moments before touch down on 27R. It's a shame that this spot is only really accessible for a few months of the year! (5D3/100-400LIS)
