Remarks: After a hard landing at the North Las Vegas Airport, the aircraft caught fire. The two occupants were unhurt. One of the pilots was involved in a similar accident, at the same airport, with the same airplane, almost one year ago.
Remarks: On this day, me and the whole crew was lucky. One minute before taking off in the taxiing axis collapsed, and the left front wheel on the landing gear came off. One can only imagine what would happen if a wheel fell off during take-off or landing.
Remarks: A crash I will never forget, watching this float takeoff and crash from the heavy winds right infront of my eyes. The winds were very strong that day, this float was going to takeoff. The headwind was so strong, as he lifted off he banked, pitched down and his wing caught the water. The 2 people on-board apparently died from the crash in the hospital.
Remarks: Seen here is the damage to the Aerolineas Argentinas A340 after it had a minor ground collision with an Air France 777 which caused both flights to be canceled.
