Remarks: A tight shot of this EVA Air A330's special livery inspired by the 'Hello Kitty' brand. I love how the Asian carriers really go to town with their special livery's, ANA has it's pokemon and panda livery, EVA has it's hello kitty and there are several other carriers with equally as impressive special scheme's. Remarks: A close up shot of Tokyo Haneda's control tower that looms above the airfield. I love how it stands out against the clear and crisp blue sky. In the background an ANA 767-300 can be seen banking away after it's departure. (5D3/70-200F2.8LIS)
Remarks: MH004 arrives on 27L in the last moments of it's long flight over from Kuala Lumpur. I love the look of this old livery on these older 744's, i think it looks so very classic. Don't get me wrong, the new A380's look great but the livery just doesn't grab me as much as this older one does. (5D2/70-200F2.8LIS)
Remarks: A site no longer seen in the skies as KLM have now totally retired their Fokker fleet. Here is JCH arriving from Amsterdam as KL1025. (5D2/70-200F2.8LIS)
Remarks: JAL Express 737-800 lifts away from HND's active runway with the beautiful backdrop of the Tokyo bay. I was so very lucky with how clear and crisp the weather was that day. (5D3/70-200F2.8LIS)
Remarks: I was so lucky with the beautiful light that came out during sunset that evening at HND. It left me with this stunning orange glow on the arriving and departing traffic. Amazingly this was shot just 4 months ago and this aircraft has now left the JAL fleet and operates with Delta as N949DN! In hindsight i was really glad i shot photos of this little MD90! Remarks: I was really glad to catch at least one of these 734's during my trip to Tokyo. I can't see them being around for all that much longer. Always nice to see something different. Here is JA8998 slowing down on the active runway, shot from the new viewing terrace atop of the International Terminal. (5D3/70-200F2.8LIS)
Remarks: JAL Express has just pushed back from the terminal and is having the tug unattached before it heads out for departure. Luckily i managed to catch the strobe in the frame too! (5D3/70-200F2.8LIS)
