Remarks: After taxying for what seemed like eternity, we finally get airborne and above the morning mist and cloud. Taken from 7F on flight KLM1277 to Edinburgh. First flight for me on an E190 - very impressed. Certainly preferred them to a 737. [1024 pixels]
Remarks: Taken on the coast of Canada just to the North West of Sydney, Nova Scotia as the Atlantic crossing is complete. Visible is the town and beach of Ingonish and the truly beautiful Cape Breton Island. [1400 pixels]
Remarks: The city of Montreal at dusk looks superb as we climb away to begin our Transatlantic crossing. Taken from seat 10J as I realise an aviation ambition and fly on a magnificent MD-11. Truly a very happy and fulfilling moment. [1600 pixels]

Remarks: This is a very special photo for me, because it marked not only a wonderful trip home to see my family for the first time in many years but the realisation of an aviation dream, to fly on a magnificent MD-11.
