Remarks: Cruising in Heaven above the Aegean as ELY 008 to Tel Aviv from Kennedy. What a great trip on El Al - the planes are old, but the service is good and the people onboard are interesting to talk to, lots of good times standing at this exit/window and meeting other pax.
Remarks: Caught this gem RON at Terminal 4 before departing to Tel Aviv. Note the Pan Am Worldport / DL T3 in the back, as well as the AirTrain coming in from Terminal 3.

Remarks: Shamrock 136 Heavy to Dublin blasts off Runway 9, cleaning up as the pair of GE Aviation CF6-80E1s underwing break the silence of a quiet night in Winthrop.
Remarks: General Electric F101-GE-102 afterburning turbofan on this Ellsworth AFB - based member of the "Thunderbirds" 28th Bomb Wing / 34th BS. [SB-400]
Remarks: Left wing of 'Topcat 33,' 45th Reconnaissance Squadron, 55th Operations Group, Offut, NB. According to Wikipedia, this is a unique trainer variant of the RC-135S, used for missile tracking.
Remarks: Front office of a 1978 classic, still flying but due to be phased out in the near future. It is always a special treat to see 'Golden Age' jets still in service. [SB-400]
Remarks: The famous Boeing nose, pioneered on the 367-80 and featured prominently on this vintage 1978 bird. Thanks to Fedex for bringing it here to the 2012 Great New England Air Show.
