Remarks: Operating as "Air China Freight 322" this ex Singapore Airlines bird is seen here vacating the runway after arriving from Anchorage. I remember spotting this bird many times under its former registration 9V-SMP when it used to operate between AKL and SIN
Remarks:"New Zealand One"completes push back ready for a lengthy taxi round the airport for a 25 right departure. this taxi requires an extra four tonnes of fuel!
Remarks:'Wellington' seen here parked up with another 747 behind it. i counted 10 Air New Zealand aircraft parked, five of them were 747's. The lack of demand and the increase of 777's operating the LA and Heathrow sectors mean they have nothing to do, perhaps the Rugby World Cup will see them operating more regularly.
Remarks:"Omega 10" seen here departing Auckland in support of Five Super Hornets on delivery to the RAAF. It was great to finally hear those three PW JT9D's screaming.
