Remarks: Thai Airways 911 turns onto runway 27L bound for Bangkok Suvarnabhumi. Thai operates two daily flights from Heathrow to Bangkok, and for a few months in 2009, the airline used the Airbus A340-600. Service has since been resumed by the 747-400, however.
Remarks: Huge Helicopter. Sadly it did not take part in Sunday's show, due to some sort of engine problem. I heard that a spare part was to be ferried to Southend, so that it could take part in Mondays show.
Remarks: Inside the terminal building in Malta at 3.30am. As you can see, each gate is very small compared to that of major international airports. The seats here are those at gate 6.
