Remarks: A320 with the visit Sri Lanka 2011 sticker. Fairly ages aircraft, nice colors. Got her coming into runway 29 from Colombo, in wee end of the last few minutes of Sun light that day - as the reflection can be seen on the nose of the aircraft.
Remarks: Ex- Air Deccan bird, now in Kingfisher colors post merger. Ex-Deccan have been tricky for Kingfisher, some of them were on ground for a long time - but slowly they all are returning to air worthiness thanks to engine replacements in some of the ex-Deccan birds, as tweeted by their president Dr. Mallya.
Remarks: One of the two 737-900s in the massive 9W 737 fleet, JGD which is dedicated to the BOM - DEL route comes into runway 29, I'm a fan of retro liveries and this is no different - a fan of 9W old livery too ! Not many 9W aircrafts are seen in that livery any more.
Remarks: JGL looking bright and nice, into runway 29 afternoon spotting sessions are always nice if the weather is clear. Nothing much to say about the airline or the colors.
Remarks: The beautiful and majestic B77W wearing the magnificent AI livery roars into runway 29 from YYZ only to have a picture perfect touchdown. Evening arrivals are always nice and relaxed at DEL.
Remarks: An old but good looking Boeing 737-700. Served 9W for 9.5 years still wearing the old colors which are better than the new colors in my opinion.
My first non Air India shot in the JP Database.
Remarks: This is the most beautiful bird in Air India's huge fleet. Sadly only a few are active today.
This one flying in from JED on a sunny afternoon at DEL. Perfect spotting conditions for spotting. First shot of VT-EVB ( full frame ) in new colors in the JP database.
Remarks: First shot of this reg# in the database .
A beautiful AI A321 Comes into runway 28 on a sunny winter afternoon. Perfect day for spotting. I love Air India forever, regardless of who says what. Air India forever.
