Departing past the Esso garage
Departing back to Canada past the Esso garage
The main reason for the trip down to Manchester this day arriving on a medical charter from Latvia. The aircraft departed just over an hour later
The new scheme representing the Thomas Cook group. I happen to like this scheme a lot more than the old one.
Personally I much prefer this scheme to that of mainline Air Canada. A recent addition to the skies around Manchester this flight at the moment at least is a summer seasonal flight.
Shortly before arrival at Frankfurt on a glorious morning.
One of the original B777-200s blasts off 27L. BA only has three of these in the fleet.
Over the years I have seen some stunning liveries on the 767 but I think this beats every single one of them. Arriving from Baku mid afternoon on 27L.
Departing past the Esso garage, the aircraft so big that part of it is covered by sunshine and the other by the shadow of a cloud.
Departing back to Spain
Relatively new service from Bogota arrives at LHR early afternoon. This was the main reason for my trip down to London and my first sighting of a Colombian aircraft.
This scheme looks ok on the smaller jets but it really doesnt suite the longhaulers of the fleet. Sorry Iberia not a fan.
Arriving from Tokyo wearing possibly the worst colour scheme of all time. Come on JAL you can do better than this.
