Remarks:Speedbird 142 holding short right in front of us, for nearly 15 minutes, as she begins her journey back home to London Heathrow International Airport. I was on my 50mm lens, and this is all I could fit in my lens. This was a bad start for her flight as she was pushed back from gate and was made to wait for 10-15 mins, then this delay in front of us, and again a delay of 10-15 minutes on Charlie Whiskey 1. Definitely an unhappy crew and passengers on this flight.
Remarks: This is an aerial view of Florence airport. As you can see it has an unusual runway wich is only 1750 m (1,09 mi) long. Landing and take off is pretty difficult becouse you have mountains on the north side and an highway on the south side. Biggest scheduled commercial planes wich land here are A319 and B717. Remarks: [1400 px] Sporting Massive twin GE90-90B, this bird was delivered to Saudi Arabian Airlines on 25/03/1999. One of my first shots from the March 2013 air side session at DEL/VIDP, we were fully "warmed up" (literally) by this bird passing by pretty close to us. "Dont get too close or else I will blow you away", said this bird! Thanks Sriram for lending the lens!
