Remarks: Caught this gem RON at Terminal 4 before departing to Tel Aviv. Note the Pan Am Worldport / DL T3 in the back, as well as the AirTrain coming in from Terminal 3.
Remarks: DL 1859 to DTW is taking off from Logan's runway 9 on a gloomy, foggy evening. Periodic snow and rain showers resulted in a high degree of condensation which turned the lights of all the planes into light beams. The position of the wing and the lights on the MD-88 almost make it look like an X-Wing firing its lasers! Crazy day. Never seen anything like that before.
Remarks: HG8772 from VIE to FRA on "Polka", seat 20F. We arrived in Frankfurt almost two hours late as thunderstorms in the Vienna area delayed our departure and caused us to take a longer routing. But, during the approach, we were rewarded with a beautiful view of the Frankfurt skyline bathed in early evening light.
Remarks: B6 1296 from Richmod is firing its strobes as if it's saying "Hi Boston! We've arrived!", seconds from touching down on Logan's runway 27. Boston's famous skyline, with the Prudential building, the John Hancock Tower, etc., can be seen in the background.
