Just landed at Kununurra after having left Darwin. We had an engine problem which was resolved in 25 minutes. Then the trip took 45 minutes. Now being readied for the trip back up to Darwin.
Remarks: In the head office, in the still of the night with a few hours to go prior to touchdown. Those were the good old days. Nothing but the blackness of night and the lights of our vessel to carry us through. The thrill of a lifetime.
Remarks: Apparently this is the photo of this cute plane in the db. A short ride, 7 minutes from Tahiti to Moorea. In the foreground are the baggage loaders!
Remarks: The HUD display on this spacious aircraft. And if you look closely, in the "W" in the center of the HUD, it is DIRECTLY on the Empire State Building! Nice choice of headings.
