Remarks: A very enjoyable ride upon this spacious and comfortable aircraft – Taken shortly after departure from London Heathrow with just 40 passengers onboard this mornings flight.
Remarks: I was lucky enough to be one of the first passengers to board which gave me the oppotunity to capture this shot of the terminal from the 'other' side. The terminal is small but is ample for the amount of traffic that serves this cornish airport. Taken as the last remaining passengers board before departing out on one of Ryanair's oldest 737 as FR9903 to London Stansted.
Remarks: Gear down, flaps, and at just 500ft we prepare to make our 180 degree turn to line up with Funchal's Rwy05. As the sun disappears for the evening and the cloud sets in, this was the final part of my flight and the beginning of a great holiday that would see me spending the next 4 days with fellow JP contributors, Paul 'The WAC' Nichols & Tom 'The Goat' Gautier. Note Funchal airport in the near distance. To see Paul Nichols' picture of me having landed

Remarks: A glorious evening of flying awaits us as we are pushed back off our stand. As the engines start up we prepare ready for our 50minute flight back to Bristol (FR2221). Our flight this evening was one of the few if not the only flight that wasn’t delayed out of Shannon that evening.
