Remarks: This shot is very special to me because it was my last sight of the all too famous "Imperial Hill" where I spent collectively about 18 hours at that weekend shooting my heart out at all the wonderful LAX traffic. Remarks: Spirit of Delta in repaint of the original delivery colors. This aircraft is being retired on March 3, 2006, and is on a 'farewell tour'. The first stop on the tour was February 21 at MCO. This photo shows the aircraft on a fly by over runway 17-R.
Remarks: My first sighting of a Midwest 170 operated by Republic. This is YX's answer to saving money while furloughing tons of YX mainline crews. This shot was taken just minutes after talking to two Midwest 717 F.O.'s who were losing their jobs soon. Good luck guys! Also, best of luck to all Midwest employees! I hope you all are around for years to continue providing the "Best Care in the Air."
