Remarks: To my immense delight, BR226 to Taipei is operated by this A332 in the Hello Kitty 'Happy Music Time' special livery. Dedicated to the Taipei-Sapporo route, aircraft scheduling realities bring about her visit here. Thanks, Eva, for despatching her here and do the same for the other three Hello Kitty specials too. Hope you like the angle as this was the best one that allowed me to get the maximum amount of unblocked detail.
Remarks: I had been happily photographing 9V-SKM (SQ A380) as she taxiied at a stately pace along NC2 to rwy 20C for departure to London as SQ318. Suddenly, this T7 appeared along NC3 and proceeded to overtake the A380. She is pictured just as she overtakes the giant. Quite an unforgettable sight!
Remarks: (1600 pix) Finally managed to spot CV's B748F when she was delayed and ended up arriving in the evening instead of the early morning. She is pictured descending towards rwy 20R.
Remarks: Two A330s, the regional widebody of choice, in one frame. The Turkish example is parked awaiting departure as TK66 to CGK while the Singaporean example prepares to embrace terra firma (rwy 20C).
Remarks: This CX A343 sits at gate D34 as a consequence of the delay of Cathay 714 that morning. Overhead, an LCC machine approaches rwy 20C. This is my 400th photo on JP. Thanks to the JP screeners and all of you who have given me your kind support. Hallelujah!
Remarks: I had been getting ready to photograph City of Melbourne that evening as she approached intending to get a side-on shot. Then her engines powered up and here she is performing that go-around that provided a good look at her belly instead.
Remarks: It was sheer pleasure that morning to spot this beautifully liveried BR 77W approaching rwy 20R as BR225 from Taipei. Hitherto every BR arrival had been on rwy 20C. This evergreen livery will always be special to me. Would also like to take this chance to congratulate MalaysianWings on the occasion of their 7th Anniversary.
