Beware of jetblast! Taken from Access Road, what stands between you and the taxing aircraft is only a 7 feet fence. You can actually feel the exhaust from the engines.

Rule no.1, always check for traffic when you enter the main road, runway I mean.
ANC must be the best spotting place in terms of lighting, almost 16 hours of daylight and a very long sunset at 2200 LT.
