Remarks: Ice on the wing? On this cold morning, a closer look was needed. Both Lucy the Canadian Goose and Larry the Lynx were delayed in SFO while waiting to be deiced the old fashioned way -- by mother nature & the heat of the sun. Taken from within N929FR.
Remarks: This is the 737-800 Next Generation with Short Field Performance(SFP), that includes: two position tail-skids, sealed slats and more spoiler deflection on ground. GOL it's the first customer of this new Boeing's technology that make possible for this plane land or take off in small runways. This pic was taken just after take off, but this 737 was getting altitude so fast, it is amazing. You can compare this pic with #5883873 and you'll see the GOL higher than the A320 on the same spot.
