A beautiful Saturday morning at JFK. Taking off past Delta Terminal / Terminal 3.
Our flight took off due west and then made a circle going south first, and then right over the airport and making it an unbelievable photo-op for me.
First photo of the type in Biman livery in the database. Biman has one other B737-300, S2-AEA on lease for one year. The 737s will be used on domestic and regional routes.
Over Terminal 3 in the foreground, and Terminal 4 and the tower in the center of the photo. Most planes are in Terminal 6, base for jetBlue.
Upon take-off, flying past Shea Stadium enroute to Montreal Dorval.
Next to another SAS a/c, an A330 ( LN-RKH)
New York, New York. Brooklyn Bridge is the one to the left, Manhattan Bridge to the right, all of downtown Manhattan visible. Flight from Nassau, the Bahamas to LGA.
The Manhattan skyline in view. I loved this approach from the south going over Manhattan and onto the Bronx and then turning around to LGA.
Arriving at a very empty Santo Domingo airport. It is a nice airport and is busier earlier in the mornings with AA flights from JFK and MIA. The tropical sun was very invitiing, though.
Taking off from Keflavik for Copenhagen. Keflavik is also used by the miliarty, and some Lockheed Orions and Herculeses can be seen in this photo.
The KLIA sign clearly visible again after disappearing during a heavy downpour. Aircraft on the right is 9M-MKF, being readied for a short flight to Singapore.
Upon takeoff for FLL. View of Terminal One. In the morning, JFK is very quiet, especially Terminal One.
Being towed to domestic boarding area.
The airline employee walks towards the aircraft as it comes to a complete stop. Sorry about the grainy texture...I wanted to submit the photo for the reflection on the terminal glass.
