Remarks: Our flight took off due west and then made a circle going south first, and then right over the airport and making it an unbelievable photo-op for me.
Remarks: First photo of the type in Biman livery in the database. Biman has one other B737-300, S2-AEA on lease for one year. The 737s will be used on domestic and regional routes.
Remarks: New York, New York. Brooklyn Bridge is the one to the left, Manhattan Bridge to the right, all of downtown Manhattan visible. Flight from Nassau, the Bahamas to LGA.
Remarks: Arriving at a very empty Santo Domingo airport. It is a nice airport and is busier earlier in the mornings with AA flights from JFK and MIA. The tropical sun was very invitiing, though.
Remarks: Taking off from Keflavik for Copenhagen. Keflavik is also used by the miliarty, and some Lockheed Orions and Herculeses can be seen in this photo.
Remarks: The KLIA sign clearly visible again after disappearing during a heavy downpour. Aircraft on the right is 9M-MKF, being readied for a short flight to Singapore.
Remarks: The turnstiles at the entrance of the JFK AirTrain platform. This photo was taken on the first day of service, and the ride was free. As of tomorrow, it's a $5 entry fee!
Remarks: The airline employee walks towards the aircraft as it comes to a complete stop. Sorry about the grainy texture...I wanted to submit the photo for the reflection on the terminal glass.
