Remarks: Scan from a slide: dumping fuel above the Adriatic Sea to lose weight before returning to Ancora Falconara earlier than expected (all the receivers cancelled their mission above Kosovo for bad weather)
Remarks: As the helo hit the surface of the lake I took a sequence of 4 pictures (this one being the first). The NH90 broke up in myriad pieces and ditched causing the death of Capt. Filippo Fornassi. Miraculously 2 other POB and people on the paddle boat survived. When I uploaded the full sequence to my blog some 25.000 visitors watched the dramatic pictures in a few hours but I couldn't be happy....
