Remarks: Its 19:53 EST. Summer time in the city. Bright sunny morning gives way to a cloudy afternoon and then changes to stormy thunderstorms & rain. However, one of the brightest rainbow I have ever witnessed signals the end of the storms as "November Delta" glides in front of it on her way to Rwy 22 Left.
Remarks: One of the favourite spot of mine in the world. Great wx to go this morning prior to my flight back home to US. Wishing the spotting community more of such for 2012.
Remarks: "Smooth As Silk" is what THAI advertises and we can see why... the passanger is still sound sleep after the landing as Alpha Golf pulls into the gate.
Remarks: "I got your back (or wingtip)": The Captian has fixed his eyes on the marshaller, who in turn is glued to the wingtip clearence as "Foxtrot Charlie" pulls onto Terminal 4 ramp gingerly to avoid the Cathay 744 thats positioned right behind the marshaller.
Remarks: SU-GDM. My wife relates spotting as fishing. We wait for minutes & hours to land a nice catch. Well heres the best catch of the day when temps were 26'F with 17 MPH winds!. Awesome scheme indeed. "Happy New Year & a great spotting 2011"
Remarks: With "HUD" down, Captian is landing the "Shamu One", while copilot is holding onto the handle and riding the approach. [Canon 7D + EF500mm f4/ L IS USM]
Remarks: Sunset Boulevard! We are bit south of the original one in Los Angeles, however this serves as the setting for aviation version of the famous boulevard, as this Conti 757 kisses 24 Right ever so softly on a glorious California summer evening. 18:51 PST [Canon 40D + EF500mm f/4L IS USM]
