Remarks: This historic site has manufactured such aircraft as the Lancaster, Vulcan, Nimrod and later the BAe146/RJ100. Following the cancellation of the Nimrod MR4A project, Woodford ceased to be viable and closed on 25th August 2011
Remarks: Final for RWY 07! I think every aircraft from Barton who had the chance visited this historic airfield before it stopped operations on 26/08/2011. It's sad too see such an iconic an historic airfield close down, so I was thankful that I got this airfield in my logbook before it closed!
