Colourfull Puma at the now closed NAS Valkenburg. Retired in March 2006 and preserved at Sintra.
Retired from active service in October 2001 and since then she is an instructional airframe at Gosport HMS Sultan.
After Cat Air went bust PBY was stored at Valkneburg. Nowadays the Neptune Association is flying this War veteran.
In 1997 an European top meeting was held in the Hague, bringing lots of transport planes to nearby Valkenburg.
During the show to celebrate the 80th birthday of the Dutch naval forces. Who would have thought that 10 years later Valkenburg and the Dutch P-3's would all be history.....
In 1990 the Netherlands AF had two Bo-105's painted in special display colors. In the years afterwards no such painting was applied anymore.
