Remarks: Front end of immaculate Orlican Meta Sokol L-40 VH-DUE on display in a hangar at the Tyabb Airshow in Mar2012. The aircraft, built in 1958, and First Regd in Australia on 26Mar1964, is for sale. I first photographed a Meta Sokol L-40, Sister-ship VH-DUX, at Tooradin Airfield (YTDN) in 1971.
